Our Story
To become "U Nyi Lay Silver Shop", our founder U Nyi Lay was learning silversmithing from his father when he was 14 years old. After he learned silversmithing he started selling the silver products to lower Myanmar villages and cities. When he reached 21 years old, he was moving to Yangon city and opened a silver shop near Sule Pagoda. Then he rented a shop in Bogyoke market and he struggled for his business to succeed. Our business was to keep the best silver quality and it passed for three generations.
